Firkins Automotive Bradenton Florida buddied up with Automax. You know the drill. Bashed and robbed 19 this time of $698. Automax knows how to talk the talk. They are working on free room and board with 3 squares a day. We really need to be concerned about the 3 that got hired. The guys that realized what happened thank the upstairs they got out". It appears no one really is safe working in Firkins/. Not the ideal business situation to be snared into?. Too bad that was an honest place a long time ago;. Real shame to see it go down like this.. Wont' be able to recommend them to anybody/. Sad too a few of my neighbors are looking for cars for their kids/. Hope they aren't messing with the customers/. BEWARE you will loose $698 and be jobless. 129264f

Automax Recruiting and Training Company is owned by a guy named craig lockerd out of linwood, nj and the recruit for dealerships and charge the unsuspecting candidates a fee and then assure them they will get reimbursed, but the don't guarantee a job and when you go looking for one, they don't help you. If you try to get your money back they won't give it to you. the trainers are all private contractors and pay craig so they can get bookings from him. They advertise to the dealers, no up front fees, and then don't disclose to the candidates they are charging them until after they have pumped them up on the 3rd day with motivation. they require you to pay cash or cashiers checks the following day and on friday you're on your own. They work harder at recruiting recruiters than salespeople because they charge the recruiters a fee and promise them work, but then tell the recruiters that business is slow and they need to go close their own deals.

The tried to hire me to work for them, but I have several friends who did work for them and they warned me about the scam.

The Manus group used to be called Williams and Associates and is run by some guy named Rick Williams and is wife, not sure of her name. they do the same thing.

Firkins is losin all kind of business because of bad service in repair. At least there won't be a wait in service, you'll just get ripped off quicker.

Cannot imagine making it a third time. They have been to intensive care twice. The next will likely kill them off as well as unsavory dealerships.
