4. Written by steph on February 18, 2012 from los angeles, california, US I just finished a course at Auto Max provided by Al Bennton. I was told I would be given a job at Alhambra Nisson. I was to pay 300.00, after the class I spent 5 hours in interviews at Alhambra Nisson, by their employees. Myself along with along with at least half of the other classmates were sent to dealerships at least 40 miles out of our range. No one was hired at Akhambra Nisson. Beware..this is a scam, I changed my bank account...it is that scary. Also, I would NEVER EVER shop at Alhambra Nisson.

6. Written by Ron on September 7, 2011 from prince george, virginia, US Thank God I read these comments. I got wise when I started to realize the ad was more about AUTOMAX then the dealership. I was set to go the the "interview" next week in Richmond Virginia. If you read the fine print it mentions the fees so I investigated. Thanks for saving me my time.

8. Written by sickened jr on August 18, 2011 from topeka, kansas, US I nearly got sucked in to the scam in Wichita. Bailed out just before payment was due thanks to the red flags of a fee and avoiding the sales floors. Now I see that they are hiring but the ad is completely different. Hopefully they elarned their lesson
9. Written by Chubbs on July 27, 2011 from des plaines, illinois, US I had an interview with this guy named Dave Hoier at Libertyville Nissan Kia VW. When I arrived at the dealership and asked for this guy, no one knew who I was talking about. Some guy at the service desk told me I was the 5th person today who asked him for this guy. He seemed somewhat suspicious of what was going on, but directed me to another area. As I wondered around, I saw this guy in a hidden office with no name on desks or windows. He said that he was Dave Hoier and asked me to fill out an application. After the application was complete, I interviewed with Dave. The interview was different than interviews of the past, but I was just excited of the possibilities of making money as a salesman. I was invited to attend training the next 3 days. I was just about to go to sleep and wake up in the morning to attend training on wed, thur, and fri. I was going to call off from my job to do this. I won't be showing up tomorrow thats for sure. Thank God for the internet and the people from this website who share their experiences. Bless you all, and to *** with scam artists at automax.
10. Written by don't be *** on July 3, 2011 from columbia, maryland, US Don't EVER pay for auto training. There are plenty of dealerships out there that don't charge for training. If you pay automax or any other company up front for training, you deserve to be ripped off.
